Mark began offering voice workshops to local Melbournians back in 2019. He has also facilitated his workshops in Asia, collaborating with The Actors Studio Academy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as with Singapore’s first professional acting studio, Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity (HCAC).
The two workshops that are currently being offered include:
A comprehensive two-hour introductory workshop focusing on physical alignment, breathing, and voice skills to help participants vocally and verbally express themselves with greater ease and clarity. Participants will also acquire skills in incorporating volume, pacing, and strategic pausing, transforming them into more expressive and engaging speakers.
This 10-hour weekend intensive workshop is dedicated to liberating individuals from poor physical and vocal habits whilst fostering effective and authentic communication. Participants will work on their CRAFT and learn how to deeply CONNECT words with their meaning and intention so that they can COMMUNICATE their ideas and messages clearly and confidently to their audience. Participants will discover just how powerful words and the human voice can be when they are matched with the right tone of voice, intention, and gestures.
Mark is currently available for collaborations with educational institutions and professional companies throughout Australia and Asia. Feel free to reach out to discuss your specific goals and requirements.
“It is a good idea to think of developing your voice for general use rather than just having a ‘stage’ or ‘performance’ voice. This way it will have greater flexibility and feel more owned.”
